What we do to keep your work safe, and what we don't claim.
No badges, no percentages. These are the things Kelo actually does today, written plainly so you can check them in the trial.
Your CRM data is yours.
We don't read, use, sell or share the records you keep in Kelo: customers, properties, deals, tenancies, documents. We only use your account details (names, emails, sign-in and billing information) to run your account, sign you in and bill you.
The only time anyone at Kelo can see inside your account is if your admin switches on support access, which is time-limited (72 hours), can be stopped at any time, and is recorded in your activity log. Nightly backups and our hosting and email providers still process data on our behalf, only to run Kelo for you.
Signing in
Two-step sign-in
A stolen password alone isn't enough.Every user can turn on a second step: a code by email, or an authenticator app. Owners are prompted to do it from the dashboard.
Passwords and codes
Stored so they can't be read back.Passwords are stored hashed. Sign-in codes and reset links are stored only in a form that can't be read back, and sign-in attempts are limited.
Activity log
You can always see what happened.Important changes are recorded with who made them and when, including support access being switched on or off.
Your data
Kept apart by the database
One company cannot read another's rows.Each company's records are separated at the database level, not only by the application.
Nightly backups
Kept for 14 days.On our servers your data is backed up every night. Backups are processed by our hosting provider on our behalf.
Download everything
Leave with all of it, any time.The owner can download all the company's data from Administration. After an account ends we keep the data for 30 days so it can be downloaded, then delete it.
Roles and data scope
Each person sees only what you decide.Owner, admin, manager, sales agent, lettings agent, property manager, accounts, office and read-only. Own records, the team's, or everything.
Photos without location data
A listing photo doesn't give away a GPS position.Location data is removed from photos you upload.
HTTPS everywhere
Only the cookies it needs.Every page of Kelo and this website is served over HTTPS. Kelo uses only the cookies it needs to work: your session and short-lived messages between pages.
Where it runs is your choice.
Subscribe and Kelo runs on our servers with nightly backups. Or buy a licence and run it on your own server, under your own domain, with your data in your own database.
Who helps us run Kelo
The services behind the product, so there are no surprises. They process data on our behalf, only to run Kelo.
- Our hosting and email provider runs our servers, stores the nightly backups and sends Kelo's emails: sign-in codes, invitations and the emails you ask Kelo to send.
- Cloudflare protects and speeds up our websites.
- Google Fonts provides the typefaces our pages use; Google Meet hosts the demo calls you book.
- If you switch on AI helpers, the AI provider receives only the text needed for the request you made.
- When you pay, our payment provider handles card details. Kelo itself never sees card numbers.
What Kelo doesn't do
- It doesn't take or send money. Invoices, rent and payments are records.
- It has no compliance workflows. Identity checks, anti-money-laundering, deposit schemes and licensing rules are yours to run.
- It carries no certification badges. We'd rather describe exactly what the product does.
- It's in English, with local words, currencies and formats for the US, UK and UAE.
